ABOUT ME

Hey we're Michael and Anna, from Belfast and Varna but citizens of the world! We live on traveling, meeting new people, learning new languages.

We're pretty open-minded and easygoing people, and previously lived in Scotland, France, Spain and Chile and travelled all around. If we couch surf with you (or you come to stay with us) I hope I can live up to our country's stereotypes of being welcoming and friendly, and good fun on a night out.

PHILOSOPHY

We only live once, so lets live it well! We really believe in treating everyone how you would want to be treated and having respect for people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host, we travel, and we love making new friends from everywhere in the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Separately have hosted a few people before in different flats in Glasgow, and stayed with people in Chile and Spain. Together we had our first couchsurfer who was looking for a place to crash while she found a place, who has since become a great friend here!

Music - wherever we are we try and find local gigs and festivals, we both play the guitar a little too but nothing special

Charity work - I hope to work for NGO's in the future, and have worked with charities in the UK, France and Chile, it means a lot to me
Current affairs and Politics - I'm by no means an expert on how the world works, but I read the news voraciously, if you like a good political/ethical debate I can usually hold my own.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We've both lived in many different places, Anna lived in Spain for a year, I've spent a year in Chile, and we're really into traveling. One of out favourite experiences was traveling through Morocco, which everyone should do at least once.

Teaching English - I've a TEFL qualification and have taught classes (in Ireland) to Italians and last year, while in Santiago to Chileans too. I'd be happy to help anyone who I host or hosts me with their English (for free, of course!)
