Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For most of my life I've believed that traveling is not only too expensive and too time-consuming, but also flat-out scary! Couchsurfing provides a way to experience new places, cultures, and perspectives from the eyes of the locals. I'm here to meet new people and make connections. My experience with surfing has so far have been fantastic, and I would like to give back through hosting.

I like rock, blues, folk, alternative, singer-songwriter, some rap/hip-hop, EDM, electronica, and metal. Some of my favorite artists are Beck, Foo Fighters, Four Year Strong, Ingrid Michaelson, Interpol, Jimmy Eat World, Iron & Wine, John Mayer, Larkin Poe, Led Zeppelin, Lights, Lindsey Sterling, Metric, Radiohead, The Beatles, Royal Blood, The Naked & Famous, Silversun Pickups, The Black Keys, The Police, Childish Gambino, & Weezer.
Movies, I love mind-trip, comedy, action, and something scary every now and then. Some of my favorite movies are Inception, Tenet, Skyfall, The Dark Knight, Everything Everywhere All at Once, Dumb & Dumber, Young Frankenstein, Oh Brother Where Art Thou?, The Martian, & Nacho Libre.
Authors, I love John Greene, JK Rowling, Tolkien, Andy Weir, Erik Larson, Stephen Ambrose, & Jen Sincero. Some of my favorite books are An Abundance of Katherines, Project Hail Mary, the Harry Potter series, The Devil in the White City, You Are a Badass, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Band of Brothers, & The Martian.
