ABOUT ME

I'm on a life-long quest to experience and share the beauty, intrigue and adventure of being alive and in love in our universe as a hairless ape roaming a mysterious planet bumping into other things that crawl, sing and fly.

I'm awed by the power of the human mind and spirit, and humbled by the brilliance and beauty of the innocence at the core of each one of us (yes, even those of us, who think we have a clue about what's happening here).

I desire to taste, to feel, to dance and to play... in the real world. So meet me there.

I am fortunate to have built a rich community of friends and family across the globe over the past 8 years. I'm living in the question of how we as individuals, families and communities live with honor and deep connection, while at the same time questioning everything about the Cultures of Domination we are subjected to from birth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the last four years as I've been traveling the world, I enjoy being an advocate and champion for the Couchsurfing community. The people I've met through this community have been so warm and welcoming to me and have changed my view of the world and my life. As I travel I meet couchsurfers randomly, go to meetups and on occasion am hosted by members. I've also had the pleasure of hosting couchsurfers during my time living in Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

surfing "couches" on six continents in 2010, a month or two each one. am continually inspired by the generosity and warmth of people ("strangers") all around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all kinds of music and love movies in the theater. Am currently reading The Continuum Concept, and am in a phase of my life of very little reading. Opening more to experience and feeling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

biked 23kms up Mont Ventoux at 5am full of Belgium beer just hours before Lance and Le Tour passed through; visited a Maasai village and ate the fresh warm kidney of a Maasai sheep; sailed through a storm in Amsterdam; facilitated a women's retreat in Austin, Texas; planned the future of planet earth with Jim Channon in Hawaii (the inspiration for Men Who Stare At Goats); kiteboarded in South Padre (kiteboarding capitol of the world); partied at ACL fest in Austin, TX; facilitated a "boot camp" for visionaries from around the world; spoke at a futurist conference in Las Vegas; chartered a plane across Uganda; danced night after night in Nairobi; hiked the Eastern-most climb in Australia; photographed hyenas face to face in East Africa;

Teach, Learn, Share

My life's work is about honor, freedom and inner authority. I tend to share this with people I meet in subtle ways, or if asked, more direct ways such as workshops or gatherings. In my work presently, I stand with mothers and fathers who are facing relationship and marital conflict from a place of love and trust, and have much to offer when it comes to relationship conflict resolution from a heart space. I also lead intensive retreats for visionary change agents, activists, entrepreneurs and revolutionaries. I can offer advice in entrepreneurship, marketing and internet marketing.
