Hi there, my name is Michael Mc Cann, I live in Taos, New Mexico. If you haven't guessed already I am a pilot flying internationally for a major airline here in the United States. I was born in Ireland and lived there for the first fourteen years of my life. I moved with my family to Canada where I spent my teen years. At 19 I rode a bicycle around the world, it took 18 months and nearly cost me my life a few dozen times. I then lived in Hawaii during my 20's where surfing gripped me. But after nearly drowning another dozen times I decided I would be much better off doing something safe, like flying small airplanes around mountains and volcanoes and over large oceans. After corporate America took a hold of my ability to survive, I travelled to Vermont to fly and fish and climb mountains etc. A promotion "landed" me a job in Houston where I really got into Adventure Racing, biking and running but all the time I knew my heart lay in Taos. Been here 9 years now, love telemark skiing, hanging with my ace son and staring at the stars from the hot springs. I have a daughter in Gettysburg, she'll be 3 in May. Life is...wow!
