Fully vaccinated

A bit of a free spirit. I enjoy the visual and performing arts. Independent film and theater. I've been accused of being too friendly. You will find I'm a good listener. Everyone has a personal story and I enjoy hearing them.

If you are the kind of person who offers directions to an obviously lost stranger, or stops to pick up a piece of litter you see on the ground, or participates in your community association, block club, or other civic organization we will get along.

PHILOSOPHY

Spiderman's Uncle Ben had it right, "To Whom much is given, Much is expected". Jesus said much the same thing in the New Testament.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm mostly a host. I'm happy to accommodate visitors (especially international visitors) when I can. I enjoy meeting new people and appreciate the sense of adventure that most travelers have. I'm very interested in politics and enjoy learning about politics in other countries.

Visiting me and Detroit here are some things to consider.

If you contact me less than a week before your arrival date it's very unlikely I will be able to accommodate you.

Be advised that Detroit is a wonderful and exciting city but has a VERY poor system of public transportation. It's easy to get downtown on the bus from my house but difficult to get to other locations.

I live in Detroit's Green Acres neighborhood on the Northwest side of the City.

Books, film, performing and visual art. Passionate about politics (considerably left of center), News juncki (NPR, NYT).
