ABOUT ME

I'm into sports: swimming, baseball, soccer, skateboarding, you name it! I love animals and the color green. I have two sisters, one brother, and my parents. I collect necklaces, and my favorite food is crispy bacon.

PHILOSOPHY

Hakunamatata! For those of you who have not seen The Lion King, this phrase means "no worries, for the rest of your days" and I'm a true believer. If we all just take things little by little, and don't stress out, Life reveals amazing and endless opportunities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this, but people are welcome at my place any time, pending family permission, lots of couches and beds!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only surfed for one night in Paris and once in Barcelona and I had a wonderful time! Lots of my friends do couchsurfing and they always have cool and funny stories to tell, and always meet really interesting people.

Música, películas y libros

I like all types of music, except that really lame jazz that is sometimes played in elevators. As far as books go, I love science fiction, but also adventure/fantasy/crime/mystery books. Movies, I like them all, but I prefer comedy or action. There are too many good books out there to pick a favorite, and same with movies.

I was on my way back from Santa Fe, NM, to Flagstaff, AZ, where I attend the university there. About half way through the drive, I noticed a HUGE cloud up ahead. But this was no ordinary cloud, it was sand and dust and weeds. When I finally entered this crazy storm, I had to turn on my bright headlights, because it went from being daytime to just pitch brown. My car, a 1990 Mazda Miata, started shaking back and forth, and I slowed to about 30 miles an hour, because I could not see at all. I had to swerve around a semi truck that had been blown over, and again a bit further down the road there was a hummer its attached RV trailer on its side. This went on for about an hour, then finally I made it out the other side. It was like somebody flipped on a light switch, so I flipped off my headlights and made it safely to school. Not too amazing, but one of the things that I wanted to do before I die was see or experience a sand storm, so YAY!!

I am extremely funny, but somebody once told me that looks aren't everything. (take a second there) Anyways, I pride myself in having a great sense of humor, and can laugh or find something positive in any situation.
