About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Expanding the number of places I feel at home.
ABOUT ME
This is tricky - maybe you can get a suitable picture of me when you look at the other answers. Here's something very general: I think I'm quite open minded.
PHILOSOPHY
Don't ask a guy who studies philosophy what his philosophy is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I started couchsurfing while I was traveling. But I used to offer a bed to nice people traveling in my town anyway - so I'm looking forward to doing that also via this community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
You can meet great people with couchsurfing and if you want to have a glimpse in the cultre of another country it's such a good thing to be invited to a home of somebody living there. And this web communıty is making it very easy - although the whole thing looses a bit spontaneity - but only a bit :)
Interests
I really enjoy beeing in the nature, so hiking is great for me, although I also like exploring a town - and everything is better of course with some ıntersting people around, having a good talk or doing some stuff. There are many sports I want to learn, I am practicing thai boxing and yoga and I am learning dancing salsa and climbing. Ah yes - and I like to be around when some music is made, but I myself only can play a little bit percussions, like Djembe or Bongos.

Music, Movies, and Books
A list with examples? Ok. Books and Plays: The little prince, Moon Palace, Zorba the Greek, Of mice and men, Faust, Peer Gynt, Under milkwood... Music: That's too difficult, but I'm listening to quite a lot of styles from Jazz to Folk, from Latin American stuff to Pop or Rock or Rap or something experimental... and live is the best! Films: Paterson, Take this waltz, Weit, The Seventh Seal, Mr. Moto...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to choose some example. I'll try it with a traveling experience I had in Morocco, where I was hiking two days in the Sahara with some friends - climbing the dunes, seeing real bright stars at night and playing drums or beeing relieved by the shade of some green plants in the mıddle of nothing at daytime. And I remember me saying "look there, that cloud is formed like I imagine a sand storm"... seconds later we were in it - fortunately not too far from the place we slept.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always can learn some thing from anybody and I hope I can give some things back.
