ABOUT ME

I'm a 22 year old girl from Germany. At the moment I am an Erasmus student in Geel, Belgium where I study "International Social Work" which just makes my hobby into a real education. I love to get to know new people, to hear their stories, their adventures and their ways of life...
I lived for one year in Dublin where I did a volunteering year in L'Arche. I lived and worked with people with and without disabilities and just loved this work! I lived together with people from 6 different countries which was always great fun and pretty interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't ever safe anything for a special occasion. Being alive is a special occasion!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I can not offer a couch to sleep as I don't have my own appartment at the moment. I'm more than happy to meet up for a coffee, a drink or to hang out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with some people in Dublin, Belfast and Geel which was always great fun! Also I couchsurfed for the first week of university which was a very good experience!

Interests

I love singing and dancing (both if there is no audience involved ;-)), cooking, baking, having cosy evenings with good friends, long conversations, going out for parties, being creative, organising and being involved in youth work.

Music, Movies, and Books

I just love music! Wherever I am I have it with me - I do like mostly all kind of music. Even better if there is a guitar involved (which by the way I want to learn so if there is a very patient guitar player out there - write me!).

I enjoy watching movies. My favourites are Chocolat, The Notebook, The Plan, Finding Nemo, Hitch, Pride and Prejudice, Inglourious Bastards, P.S.I love you, My girl...more the girlie type of movies but you can also inspire me by other movies!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I saw was when I was lying on the beach in Costa Rica at night - I've never seen so many stars in my life!
