About Me

Hi there! I am a recent college graduate from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, USA. I studied history, but I am interested in social and economic justice. I'm a friendly extrovert who is more than happy to share life stories over a beer or coffee or explore museums and parks with a buddy. I like to explore the cities where I'm staying with new friends, but I'm also happy to spend solo time.

Also, you can call me Mica :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling the world for a year as a Thomas J. Watson Fellow, studying worker cooperatives in Spain, Argentina, New Zealand, Germany, Canada.

Learning how cooperatives work best around the world is my formal research, but I'm also traveling to made friends and expand my perspective. I love meeting new and interesting people, so I'm hoping to couchsurf for a lot of my journey. I've had really fun experiences with couchsurfing so far, and I think it is a great way to get to meet people and see a city.
