I was born in Alberta, Canada, and I currently live in Portland, Oregon. My main goal in life is to explore the world and make new friends from all cultures and walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best way to make friends with local residents and truly experience a country/city/community and its culture. I am very grateful for people's generosity and willingness to open up their homes to travelers like myself!

Interests

I prefer small towns and nature get-aways to the big cities, but I am eager to experience it all! I am most interested in meeting new people (locals and fellow travelers alike). I love to hike, scuba dive, play games, and I am open to any and all new experiences. Currently learning how to surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music; it really depends on the situation. That being said, my favourite musical era is the 70s. I also play classical piano. My favourite composers are Brahms and Grieg.

My favourite book is Ender's Game and anything Tolkien. As for movies, I love horrors and thrillers.

When it comes down to it, I enjoy any music, book, or TV/Movie, as long as it leads to a deep/entertaining discussion!
