Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing in order to explore new places and meet new people. I know the best way to be in a new place is to meet locals and learn from them. I have couchsurfed twice before and loved the experience.

Favorite music is alternative rock. I love Modest Mouse, Robert Delong, and Awolnation.
Favorite Movies are Marvel movies, Friends with Kids, and Inside Out
I love all kinds of books, my favorite series are all Rick Riodan books, Harry Potter, and anything by Jenifer Weiner.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well when I was younger I was part of a folkdancing group that traveled around the world in a culture exchange. When I was in seventh grade we went to Japan and we stayed with host families and went to schools and community groups to give them New England culture and learn about their cultures. It was a wonderful trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know sharing a home with someone is allowing people into your own space and can be a lot. I love helping around the house, walking pets, doing the dishes, making the beds. I am down to have dinner and share about our lives. I am always up for exchanges, next time they need a place to stay I will help them. I have places in New York and Vermont for people interested.
