Hello :)
My name is Michaela and I speak German, English and French. As I am studying in Santiago de Chile from September to December I am also trying my best to learn Spanish ;)
I love Vienna, my hometown and i think it is a beautiful city BUT I also love to travel and see different places. When I was doing my first 2 Exchange semesters in Montpellier, I discovered how great it is to meet new people - and everyone of Couchsurfing that I met so far was incredibly open minded and fun. France changed my life quite a lot because I met so many people from all over the world. That's when I started more challening trips outside of Europe - I went to Mexico for 7 weeks, stayed with locals and fell in love with the country. I realized that people just staying in hotels would have never experienced the Mexican lifestyle. I continued doing a Masters program which allows me to study in 3 different countries on 3 different continents: Singapore, Chile and Switzerland and I am looking Forward to meet more cool People along the way.

What else can be said about myself?
I love to spend time with my family and friends! And I like to go out, but not all the time. Sometimes I prefer going to restaurants or cook together with friends - by the way, I love to bake and would be happy to thank any host with some nice muffins or a typical Austrian dish :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visit different countries, I prefer to really get to know the local lifestyle. And I think everyone here knows that couchsurfers are fun to hang out with - great & generous people who have the best stories to tell. I love to listen to stories people experienced while travelling!
