Hello, I'm Michaela :)

I'm at the end of my studies and working as a tour guide during the winter season in the Finnish Lapland and as a project manager in between seasons. I work mainly with providing unforgettable moments to international exchange students.

I live in a small house on the countryside, but move around quite a bit. Therefore, I might not always have the opportunity to take surfers. However, if the time is right, and you find yourself in the Porvoo or Loviisa area, I would be happy to give you a tour and maybe even offer a trip to Sirius Sports Resort for some indoor surfing on Finlands only Flowrider.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually travel the less comfortable way and have no problems to sleep in uncomfortable places. As long as I have a place to rest my head, I'm happy. I'm open minded when meeting new people.

Interests

Meeting new people, listen to new stories and get new experiences. Music follows me wherever I go, but can't play a single instrument.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Each winter I swim in the Arctic Ocean, during a short visit to a small village in northern Norway, with the groups that I guide.
