I'm 3rd year film student, born and raised in Poland, currently living and studing in London.
I study full-time and work part-time as a barista and dance teacher. I have been a dancer for almost 16 years and wish to still pursue it after hopefully having career in film industry.

I consider myself a very open-minded, laid back person who's always up for meeting new interesting people. I traveled a lot as a kid and visited my family in India few times (I'm half indian but I can neither speak the language nor understand it) but as I grew older, I started traveling less frequently, and since I became a student, my budget became less flexible (most of us can relate). Travelling has always been a big part of my life and it's a thing that always made me the happiest . That's why I think couchsurfing is a perfect way of compromising it with my current situation and on top of that I get to meet people from all around the world!

I'm not an 'experienced' couchsurfer but I have stayed as a guest couple times and each time was lovely.

Interests

I like all different genres of films and I can't just pick one favourite. As a kid I grew up watching old disney classics but also old musicals with Gene Kelly and Cyd Charisse which will always have a special place in my heart. When I got older I started enjoying all kinds of films and that's probably also why I decided to study film. My main interest is editing, sound editing and I wish to learn more about sound mixing and music producing.
Being a dancer for most of my life, developed in me a great appreciation for music that remains very important to me.
I used to collect a lot of comic books and vinyls but nowadays it's hard to afford it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I can't name it all bc my taste in music changes very often but Iove all kinds of music from Pop like Michael Jackson, through Led Zeppelin and other 70's rock bands to hip hop, indie and alternative music and asian music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently travelled to Indonesia with few of my course mates to shoot a documentary about an earthquake that happened in August.

I can teach you basics of Polish and you are more than welcome to jam with me when I have my dance sessions. I love discussing films and I always have a lot of unnecessary knowledge about it.
