Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have never hosted/been hosted, but have met people hosting and surfing and have heard only wonderful things. I plan on surfing the next opportunity I get and hosting once I am living in a place where I can. For now, I'd love to meet people and offer them any advice on the area that I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not part of the CouchSurfing Project, but I stayed with a family in the Dominican Republic and had an amazing time getting to know them, their culture, and their language. Most memorable was teaching the 7 year old English as he helped us with our Spanish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sunrise from a mountain in Los Brazos, Dominican Republic with about ten other volunteers on the last morning of our work portion of the trip. It looked and felt like a little bit of heaven was descending on us.
