ABOUT ME

I am a college guy at Texas A&M. Here are some things I like...

Jesus, love, travel, adventure, camping, tea, listening to music, singing, playing guitar, climbing, sports, reading (if it's good content), conversing, grace (as opposed to Karma, Bono, Shane Claiborne, adrenaline, and the Dallas Cowboys.

PHILOSOPHY

What a complex thing to put into a little box...

Basically I believe God created everything because inside we all know He exists, and we can see the effects of intelligent design in the universe. I also believe that there is a right and wrong, and that all men choose wrong by nature. Because of choosing this wrong, we are not worthy of being with God. In our sin, we earn death, not just physical but a spiritual death. Our life here is as good as things will get.

But, the good news is that Jesus came down to earth to teach about a new way to live. He showed us how we can be freed from the evil around us, and most importantly, He died for us and rose from the dead. By believing in and following Jesus, we become part of the Kingdom of Heaven, in which Jesus is our King, and the world has no power over us. One day, the fullness of the kingdom of heaven will return to earth.

Can I prove this is true? No, but it's the only truth I've found that stands through all the tests I've put it through. I'd encourage to check Jesus out. He's everything anyone could ever ask for.

Summer of 2008, I stayed with couchsurfers several times, and it was awesome. I'd love to house anyone for a short time if possible. Anytime anyone wants to communicate with me (in person, email, phone) I'm down.
