PHILOSOPHY

I respect everyone's race, creed, religion and sexual orientation. As a white, heterosexual, middle-aged man, I can see that I am part of the problem. Tolerance is a live long journey that clears the path for those behind me.
Anything worth doing is worth overdoing (also why I never drink or do drugs)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A tidal wave in Dominican Republic. The Aurora Borialis in Northern Alberta. A riot in San Maartin on the same day as a visit to a butterfly farm. Holding the hand of my step-father as he died. My children being born.

I plan on writing a book entitled "Around the World in 80 Poems". The plan is to write a poem about every person I meet or what we choose to do together and publish it in early 2017. This will be my third book of poetry. My hosts will, of course, get a copy of the poem and a copy of the book when it is published. Additionally, I think I am going to do a podcast during my travels and would love to interview as many hosts and friends as possible. Also, I always buy the coffee!
