PHILOSOPHY

Rock and Roll, eyes wide open.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed a few spots in Portland OR when I first came out here, about to roar down the CA coast :) (en route now!) --- The CA coastal road-trip was fantastic, CSed in Arcata CA, hit hostels in San Francisco, LA, and San Diego, likewise fantastic spots to meet interesting travelers and tap into the vein of good times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Crashed on a friend's couch in Pacific Beach for a week while marketing at ComicCon, then returned for a few more while apartment hunting, did the same in Portland OR, chilled with friends then couchsurfed around a bit while figuring out the city. Fantastic times.

Interests

Interesting folk, literature, wandering, getting lost, skateboarding, film, music, power politics, history, working on perfecting Spanish, progress.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now moving through This Side of Paradise by Fitzgerald, rereading Gatsby, Generation of Swine by Thompson, Founding Brothers by Ellis, and watching Wolf's Rain, subbed not dubbed, and the Searchers by Ford is next on the film list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the last two months I've found myself behind an active lights-flashing ambulance and had the awkward experience of making eye-contact with the bed-ridden individual, creeping me out a bit while creating the wonders of the what-ifs, but we all have our destinations after all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am skilled in the English language, and work as an "academic ghost writer", a professional plagiarizer, so I'm down with such styles of writing and help you with your term papers, and have been lucky enough to have writing published a bit here and there and did some work in the comic industry so can offer a skill-set there. I'm down to learn the Spanish language more in depth, and also to develop my skills in skateboarding to the point where I can bust a kick-flip like a god on and off curbs. Yoga I'm lacking in skill and would be down to learn, an also ballroom dancing, Salsa and Merengue, it is minutely upsetting to me I cannot perform like Bond on the dance-floor.
