CURRENT MISSION

My mission for the summer is to go around every single country in Europe by hitchhiking in 1 month :)

ABOUT ME

History:
I was born in Poland and grew up in Szczecin, but moved to England when I was 11. I went to school in Norfolk and now I am studying Spanish and German at the University of Aberystwyth in Wales.

About me:
I am a pretty spontaneous person - first time I went travelling, my friend asked me if I wanted to go hitchhiking across Europe with her, I immediately said yes without thinking it through. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life as I had a fantastic time! Maybe I should think things through more, but life is less fun that way! :) I like to go sightseeing in places I travel to, but I also like to chill out on the beach or go for a beer in the evening and chat. I am a very easy-going person - I try not to worry too much about things, because nothing good can come of it.

Future:
I want to finish my studies and then take a gap year to travel around the world. In the summer I plan to go with a friend around Europe and visit every single country by hitchhiking! It will be a fantastic adventure

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately now I am unable to host anybody, but when I move out of my house now, I will be more than happy to host people! Next year I am going on an Erasmus exchange to Spain and Germany where I will host people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I am a novice at Couchsurfin, I must say. I have only stayed with three different hosts, but they have all been absolutely fantastic and ensured me that Couchsurfing really is the best way to travel. You meet some great people, you can share amazing stories with each other and it really expands your mind!

I am now a travelling addict, I can't wait to go travelling again. I also enjoy going out with my friends, meeting new people, learning and speaking new languages and playing sports e.g football :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My favourite movie is Pulp Fiction - a fantastic film . I also enjoy other films by Tarantino. My favourite genre are comedies.

My favourite bands include Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Guns n Roses, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, but I also like to listen to pop music on the radio

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

The one truly amazing thing I've done is the first time I went travelling without my parents. It was this winter, when my friend who is used to travelling asked me if I wanted to come along with her to hitchhike across Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. I immediately said yes and never regretted my decision since. It was a fantastic time and I saw many beautiful sights and met many amazing people. I am now addicted to travelling and cannot wait to go again!

Be open to other cultures because what might seem like odd to you, is normal for them and vice versa. We can all learn so much from each other so rather than fight because of our differences, let's embrace them...
