ABOUT ME
**CURRENTLY PREPARING FOR MONGOL RALLY 2018. 15000km from ireland to mongolia. Facebook.com/madyax2018.**
I've been spending this year working as an apprentice electrician so I've been quiet. Previously, I briefly moved to Berlin, worked in catering, ran riot in San Francisco, studied animation is Dublin. I'm currently living with my girlfriend in the countryside near Naas, a small town 50 minutes from Dublin. I try to keep my art and music going in my spare time. I also like to spend the odd weekend catching house and techno DJs that come to Dublin. I enjoy outdoor activities to the extent that Ireland can offer. This is mainly just camping. I enjoy burgers but am not opposed to the idea of a vegetarian/vegan diet. I'm a big fan of not planning trips and playing by ear. I'm also a big fan of the odd after party. And at times, the less popular, after after party. I dable in meditation purely through necessity rather than a love for it. Travelling and meeting new people is of course why we are all on coachsurfing so needless to say that is what gets me though the long working weeks between nights with friends and trips abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is a big past time. I have previously played guitar in punk bands but have been involved in electronic music for the past few years. I spend my free time mixing records and working on my own music which I produce at home.
My books are not as many as I would like, but the latest three Wars, Guns, and Votes, 1984, and Shantaram have all been very interesting.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I tried to avoid a cliché travel story ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer hosts an en suit single room or double sitting room bed. I can only offer mid week guests a welcoming and comfortable house but can offer weekend guests a more social/late night/Guinness orientated experience. Irish breakfasts and Hungover mountain walks may be on the cards for people who enjoy that. I've always had a great time with guests and hosts and would love to add to those experiences.
