27 year old Scottish guy currently living in Glasgow, Scotland. This is the first time I’ve attempted to use Couch surfing (Jan 2024) hence the content on my profile is not overflowing!

Beginning 2024 I have decided I will be travelling Italy, a small fraction of Africa and South East Asia by myself over a 9 month span. I have taken a sabbatical from my job to pursue this long awaited life goal of mine therefor, I'm looking forward to throwing myself into the deep end and finding out who I meet and where I end up.

Extremely keen to meet different people from various cultures, I enjoy listening so at least I can try and learn something before we part company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet like minded people whether that be other bag-packers like myself or hosts that appreciate the field of interest. Open to meeting up for some food/drinks or any other suggestions throughout my travels. A stranger suggested this app could be a good tool to optimise my solo trip.

Usually read books covering psychology or self help but, need something a little more entertaining.

Can talk movies all day especially the American organised crime scenes from the 70's. Donnie Brasco, Goodfellas, Godfather etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thanks to my job I have covered over 18 countries and spent extensive amounts of time in various places, some more than others. 6 months working in Romania was one of my favourite experiences
