Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy traveling and seeing the world, but as I mostly travel on my own, I like the idea of meeting fellow travelers and locals who want to go out and have some fun.

Interests

I have a variety of interests, and they are all over the place too! The best part about traveling and vacationing is that it is a break from the everyday life. I can spend a day just relaxing in a pool, walking around, sitting indoors and playing some board games. I also don't mind doing a few (not too many) touristy things. But, more importantly, I like to go out and have fun and try out new things -- anything from going to the local bars to exploring nature to concerts or events. Seriously, I am up for almost anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made the decision to start traveling internationally in an interesting way... I purchased my airfare ticket (non refundable) without looking at the cost of hotels, what to do in the area, etc. I pretty much threw a dart on the globe and said "That's where I'm going." I made my way to Iceland and it was a beautiful, eight day vacation and experience. I made so many friends on that trip.
