About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life in the happiest way possible; travel and exploration.
ABOUT ME
I am a fairly easy going guy. I love to meet new people and experience different cultures. I am on a journey right now to wander and explore. I have no plans and I am just going with the wind.
I love the water, and the sun. I have lived close to the beach for the last 7 years and it makes my life better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people, especially when you are new to a place. I generally use couchsurfing for groups and events but I would like to start staying with people and having people stay with me when it becomes possible. I will be honest, couchsurfing is great on the wallet as well. You can pay to stay in a hostel where you never know what to expect and sometimes you meet a great group of people and other times you have to deal with lightweights coming home after a night out.
Staying at the home of a person whose profile you have read makes things much easier. You have a better idea what to expect of them and they of you. If I can stay in someones home for free but buy them some drinks or cook dinner for them, it is much more rewarding than playing dorm room roulette. You have a better chance to make a connection as well.
Interests
I love to walk. I try to avoid public transport unless I have a specific agenda. For me wandering around is the best experience. Walking through cities, mountains, along a beach is the highlight of travelling. Moving through life and witnessing all around. Of course taking a break at a scenic view or to lay in the sun or swim is important as well. Finding new places that you can convince yourself you are the first person to discover it and enjoy it in this way. Alone or with a group, different experiences but both rewarding. After a day of wandering human interaction is nice. A bar or dinner with other travelers of locals is wonderful. And for those nights where you wind up alone with a book, it is no less enjoyable.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The walled city of Pingyao in Shanxi Provence, China was an amazing example of a untouched ancient architecture. Looking over the Pacific Ocean in Big Sur. Standing at Knossos and imagining the view 4000 years ago being almost the same.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an English teacher and am always looking for an opportunity to trade my service for a place to stay and new experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have many stories from travels and life in general but mostly I hope to share good nature and company. There is always something to learn from someone new.
