I'm a 30 year old male currently living and working in San Francisco. I grew up in North Carolina (U.S.) and studied business and psychology at Duke University. In 2014, I quit my job in Corporate America to pursue my passions for education and helping other people. I spent a year teaching English in Silistra, Bulgaria where I was first introduced to couchsurfing. After returning to the US, I spent two years in business school in Chicago before heading to SF. My wife and I are loving exploring our new city and all the area has to offer!

I absolutely love traveling. Exposure to new cultures and people has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. I like that this community encourages travel and fosters learning between people from different backgrounds.

My fiance and I have a comfortable guest room and might be willing to host guests for short stays if it works with our schedules.

Music: Foo Fighters and Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite bands. I like just about everything except country music.
Movies: Not a huge movie guy, but I like American History X, Hotel Rwanda, and Orange County (cheesy, I know)
Books: Uncle Tom's Cabin, East of Eden, The Promise of a Pencil, Room to Read, Impact Investing...to name a few.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Part of what attracts me to couchsurfing is the ability to get to know people local to the areas I visit. I think part of experiencing a new place is trying to understand and learn from the people. An ideal trip for me includes this element in addition to exploring the sites.
