ABOUT ME
I use vegetarian and cyclist to define me most appropriately. I take value in each day and person I encounter. My career involves working with elementary-aged kids to understand the beauties of Math and Science.
PHILOSOPHY
Each day and person met should be appreciated.
Follow the Golden Rule.
Don't get caught up in consumerism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to offer my couch to any interested party, especially any cyclists that are passing through the Fort Worth/Arlington/Dallas area. All are welcome though!
I also assist in organizing the Fort Worth Bicycle Pub Crawl. We are having a blast on our rides, especially as it gets warmer. If you are in the area, see if we're riding. We might even have a spare bike for you.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience occurred in Austin (October 08)and was a great time. I was fortunate to meet an awesome host and we rode bikes in the Tour de Fat.
I just returned from a New Year's trip to Germany and Austria where I was hosted by some of the coolest people. And in the process I met other CSers at a variety of events going on during New Year's. This quick week was one of the most fun experiences of my life made so by the fantastic friends I met in the process. I am truly grateful for CS because of these times.
Hosting opps are few in Arlington as most people want to stay in Dallas and Fort Worth. Although I look forward to hosting possibilities in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attending the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Just being around thousands of people from different countries and cultures was cool enough, but to feel the warmth of humanity a few months after the 9/11 attacks was truly amazing. There seemed to be an attitude of enjoying life regardless of the fear factor.
I saved a raccoon's life on Christmas 2007. Poor guy was sitting covered in snow with a broken leg.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently learning how to juggle, so maybe I can pass that skill along to another surfer soon.
I am open to learning anything and attempt to grasp every nugget of information offered to me. Furthermore, I am just interested in other people's experiences, travels, and lives.
