About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world, learn other languages and cultures, share life experiences with people.
ABOUT ME
I'm a traveler, musician, and language geek. I like to learn about (and experience!) other cultures, usually over a drink or two. Everyone's got interesting experiences and stories. Making connections with random people around the world, even if just for a day, is such an amazing thing to be a part of. So let's have a pint!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I go to local meetups, can show people around my city, and would like to find other CS people wherever I travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, just hotels and hostels, but I'm hoping to change that soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Gogol Bordello, Flogging Molly, Balkan Beat Box, Muse, Goran Bregovic, The Crooked Fiddle Band. Ke$ha...
Movies: Anything by Darren Aronofsky or Wes Anderson. The Godfather, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings.
Books: I'm currently reading Steven Pinker's "The Stuff of Thought" and a bunch of stories by Franz Kafka. Terry Prachett and Issac Asimov are good. I like cyberpunk stuff like Gibson and Stevenson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Guatemala once and climbed an active volcano, reaching (a safe distance from) the top at sunset on my birthday. It is the most beautiful memory I have of nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can give music lessons for violin.
