About Me

Engineering graduate but quit my job before starting to travel instead and have been living out of my backpack ever since (2012). Spent two years working in Australia and New Zealand, volunteered in a few hostels/farms in Bolivia and Japan, with the rest of the time diligently hoarding all my cash as nimbly as possible.

Travelling has allowed me to meet loads of new and interesting people, explore the explored, and live in the moment while trying to grow a little bit each day. I've also read a lot and sat staring at hundreds of sunsets with all my free time. And ate a lot of interesting, delicious food! Travelling also turned me into a vegetarian. And probably a nihilist as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people to acquire different perspectives, opinions, ideas... and whenever I end my travels, I look forward to being able to host other travelers to pay back the generosity. And like everyone else on here, use it when visiting expensive places...

Music, Movies, and Books

I could talk about these 3 things for hours... which, I usually tend to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking through Patagonia

Trekking the Annapurna Circuit

Living with a Mayan family while Studying Spanish in Guatemala

Successfully forgot most of the Spanish I learned (even after a year in South America)

Rebelled against Couchsurfing by naming more than "One Amazing Thing I've Done"

Successfully garnered zero laughs from any of this
