I want to see the world. I am retired with a wonderful airline travel benefit and must see this beautiful place we call earth.

ABOUT ME

I retired about 2 years ago from work as design engineer / consultant for communications infrastructure (construction work for airports). I survive now by virtue of a military pension (I was fighter pilot in US Navy) and my social security. In the last few years I have been very active in the cause of free Palestine and the BDS movement to end Israel's occupation and apartheid of the people of Palestine.

I love to travel and because of a wonderful airline pass privilege that I am eligible for as a result of working for a US Airline, I have traveled quite a bit.

PHILOSOPHY

well, I like the idea of socialism: people taking care of people.

* If we want a better world we will have to be better people.

* A better world has got to start somewhere. Why not with you and me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

as a beginner with CouchSurfing I am a "traveller". In the future (when I settle down) I intend to also be a "host" in Boulder Colorado.
