I'm currently working in Queensland Australia as an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), building up the startup and innovation ecosystem in the Bundaberg region and helping entrepreneurs develop businesses. I travel a lot, volunteer with Techstars' Startup Weekend program as an event facilitator, and as a curator for the StartupDigest.com crowdfunding reading list. I'm passionate about building sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystems in cities all around the world. I love helping people make and do awesome stuff. I spend my non-working hours writing songs, helping people with creative crowdfunding projects, appreciating and encouraging art, practicing photography, techie stuff, drinking coffee, reading, writing, hiking.

I work hard to love everyone i meet genuinely and contribute in some meaningful intangible way to make our lives rich and rewarding. I believe in helping each other. I embrace an ideology of abundance, preservation, conservation, and attentiveness to health and balance. I like making cool things happen and helping others do what they love.

I lived in a 1971 VW Westfalia camper van for a year as a personal challenge toward minimalism and simplicity. It was awesome.

I hiked over 21 miles in one day in Yosemite Valley and that was... really dumb.

I built a funnel cake stand and served horribly unhealthy but delicious desserts to way too many people.
