About Me

*** SORRY GUYS, I AM NOT GAY AND WILL NEVER BE ***

Hi there!
I'm a German pharmacist on his way traveling here and there whenever there is some days off. I enjoy visiting new places and especially exploring nature. This world is a precious place and I try to treat it that way.
I'd consider myself to be a laid-back guy who is curious about life and people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My attitude is that if you want to get to know a place or a country, you will have to meet people that actually live there. That is what makes you really understand it.
I first used CS in 2012 and ever since my weirdest, funniest, happiest and luckiest travel moments have always been with couchsurfing hosts.
Of course I'd always offer my couch to anybody in return!

Interests

I play the guitar and sometimes I write new songs. Since I am a scientist I am highly interested in natural sciences aswell. And then there is football... Oh, and I play chess, haha. It's not as boring as you might think actually!

Music, Movies, and Books

Biffy Clyro (my favourite. Although I am open to almost every style of music, I guess rock music will always be my fav)

Lord Of The Rings (visited so many places in New Zealand where the movie was shot - great experience!)

Brave New World (Aldous Huxley is a true master), H.G. Wells' books, 1984 - yes I guess dystopian novels teach you more than you may expect.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was the fastest sperm! Okay, now seriously:
Bungy jumping and base jumping in New Zealand!
Beautiful Miss Tamale (town in Ghana) took me on a motorbike ride through her town.
And the thing I am proudest of all is that I am blessed to hike and climb mountains after having been unable to walk for 1 year and having had to relearn walking in general.
