Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in CouchSurfing to meet new people whether at home or abroad.

Interests

I love the outdoors and hiking/camping are huge passions of mine.

My biggest passion remains the ocean, and I'll take any opportunity I get to go swimming, fishing, or just lay on the beach. I grew up ocean kayaking but have recently gotten into whitewater but I still have a lot to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Always glad to get into a drawn-out discussion about movies. Some of my favorite directors are David Fincher, Steve McQueen, the Coen Brothers, Edgar Wright, and Alfonso Cuarón.

I love reading, and especially books that manage to combine a lot of genres. Slaughterhouse-Five was a recent read that really blew me away with that.

Also into comic books, I'm specifically a huge fan of Mike Mignola.

I can offer home cooked meals and hopefully a glimpse at some American cultures you may be unfamiliar with.
