About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My objective is to complete my novel before i turn 24. In order to do so, i need to travel like a crazy monkey. I need to immerse myself in the madness that is this beautiful world.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a business student at NYU. However, i have been bitten by the writing bug and have been trying to find the time to juggle my studies ( which do not at all consist of writing in any form, just a lot of mindless number crunching) and my writing. I hope to write fiction, but am also pursuing copywriting in advertising agencies and journalism. I love travelling and have been to many places. Over the course of my college life, I plan to travel as much as I can, to immerse myself in different cultures, to meet people, to open myself up to a world that has endless opportunities. I hope to take the time travelling to write, write and write. Hopefully the assaulting of senses will conjure up language that might be lacking in a stagant environment.

PHILOSOPHY

"Gradually then suddenly"
~The Sun Also Rises

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I witnessed the first Cambodian General elections in five years and experienced the two day no-alcohol ban leading up to the elections in a city so poor, so beautiful, so full of heart and soul.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent two years in the army
I succumbed to parental pressure and took ages before i figured out that my life is ultimately my own to lead.
I have been ridiculousy aimless and lost and messed up but i realise that carpe diem is not about what you would do if you only had one more day to live, but what you do with the day you are currently living so that you add the most value to yourself and the wider commmunity.
