About Me
ABOUT ME
I would describe myself as optimistic, with a positive view on life and the world. I like being together with people, listening to their stories, learn more about other cultures. Sharing guests and being a guest somewhere else is so much more interesting than staying at a hotel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I always liked to travel on an alternative way, as a cycling tourist, as a hitchhiker, as a traveller without money. Couchsurfing makes it possible to travel even without a lot of money, and it brings people from all over the world together. That is always astonishing.
Interests
Running, reading, swimming, travelling, cinema, tasting wine (I grew up in one of the world's best wine regions), history, meeting friends... I like travelling alternatively - e.g. by hitchhiking or walking without any money.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling means seeing impressive places, but it also means meating interesting people. Like it happend in Athens - this city will stay in my heart, not only because of the Acropolis, but also because of people like Hank. "I am looking for magical moments" - that's what Hank, a South African traveller, told me he ist searching for when I met him there. And we really shared some magical moments, dancing to Sirtaki on the Akropolis hill. It really depends on the people you meet how you think about places and citys. I have met so many great people and experienced some very exciting hours or days. That is why I am here on Couchsurfing.
