I am Michail or Michalis, but you can call me Mike. I am a civil engineering graduate from Greece and I am currently doing my Masters in structural engineering in Edinburgh. I consider myself an easy-going friendly who likes meeting new people and get to know other cultures through travelling.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

My sister started couchsurfing a few months ago and she insisted that I try it. She told me it's a good way to meet interesting people. My first experience with couchsurfing (if I manage to find some good Samaritans) will be my trip to Stockholm and Oslo at the end of March.

I enjoy travelling alone or with friends and I am excited that there are still so many places that I haven't visited yet. Apart from travelling, I like sports and I play occasionally basketball and football. I'm also a movie fan and like going to the cinema almost every week.

I listen to almost every kind of music but mostly I'm a rock fan. My list of favourite movies include Fight Club, The Matrix, Godfather, Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.

I've dived to a lake in Germany from a 15 m cliff. My Erasmus experience in Stuttgart (Germany) was pretty amazing!
