About Me
Hi all,
I'm an MA student at Masaryk University in Brno, the Czech Republic. My field of study is a little unusual - Czech Language and Computational Linguistics.
I'm a leader of one scout group in my hometown Olomouc (we belong to the World Organization of the Scout Movement).
I like travelling, jogging and also juggling:), playing on the guitar and ukulele; in addition to them, I'm a struggling pianist:)
At the top of my drink list, you can find coffee, this passion forces me to look for new types of alternative preparation and tuning up times of extractions etc. (but within reasonable limits)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Apart from my hobby travelling, I am convinced that getting to know new places/people/cultures/opinions open our eyes and it is a very good defence against one-sided views, misinterpretations and fear generally.
"The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page." (St. Augustine)
My very amateur interest in architecture admire almost everything (sth more, sth less). My country the Czech Republic is a beautiful land, but until travelling confirms you truly cost value of your homeland. Of course, everybody needs to let off steam sometimes too:)
