About Me

I'm a 20 y.o. student of Social Policy at the Warsaw University. I'm currently living with my mom, but in a near future I plan to rent a flat with my girlfriend Asia in some nice and cosy place in Warsaw. I don't have any pets, although I do like them. I could spend my whole life just going from point A to point B, from point B to point C and so on, and so on, I don't like staying in one place for a long period of time if I really don't have to. Like someone famous probably said (or it's just an internet madeup quote, who can tell the difference nowadays) "It's not about the destination, it's about the journey". I look forward to showing Warsaw from my perspective. That involves avoiding crowded places, but also drinking great coffee, eating delicious meals and visiting magnificent photo spots, so if you're into this kind of stuff I will be more than happy to share my experiences and knowledge with you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've decided to create an account on Couchsurfing because I'm just a fan of the general idea of this platform. For now I'm only a student, living with his parents, but I want to pursue every opportunity that may come my way to visit different countires, with different culture and different people. And all of that of course with my GF, the most beautiful human being ever. And once I will find some place that could be considered as "mine" - you're more than welcome to visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fav bands: The Killers, Muse, Bon Iver, Justice (that's not indie rock, but ain't they great?), Coldplay (but only for the "Viva La Vida [...]" album), Kendrick Lamar, Bloc Party, Childish Gambino, David Bowie, Death From Above 1979, Foals (big love), Franz Ferdinand (even bigger love) and Radiohead.

Fav movies:
"Drive"; "Big Lebowski"; "LEGO Batman Movie" (this one is absolutely serious); "American Psycho" (absolutely terrifying yet amazing); "Grand Budapest Hotel"; "Moonrise Kingdom" and "The Dark Knight"

Fav book:
That would be "American Psycho", no doubt. I'm not a serial killer though, don't get me wrong, it's just that the book is so good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was selling a laptop online and I've sent it before receiving the money. From Warsaw to London. No, I've never seen the money or the laptop ever again. You can call it pretty amazing, because you just have to as amazingly stupid like I was to do something like this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you:
- a little bit about photography (and by photography I mean a quick tutorial "How to make nice looking instagram pictures that won't look like the same million others")
- something about history of Warsaw, of course if you're interested
- how to make sandwiches or pasta with tomato sauce (those are the only 2 things I'm actually good at. Or I just think I am, not sure)
- about cultural/sociological aspects of living in Warsaw or in Poland in general (someone may find it interesting, I know I'd find it very interesting if I were to visit some other city)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, for now I can only buy you a drink, but once we'll find a decent flat to rent then I will update this little section into something much bigger probably.

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey
