About Me

Hii I'm new to this magical platform (although once I've CS'd with a friend in Berlin, on his account), but I'm really liking this whole idea. I don't travel that much, surely not as much as I'd like, but I've been to a few places already and have an ease in meeting and getting along with basically anyone. On the otherside I have this introvertic part of myself, meaning that I like to have a "booked" solo time as a part of everyday routine, reading or just walking around the streets. And I love coffee! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not a fan of traveling alone to another country and just book a hostel, because this way it feels quite lonely at times. Usually I just go to places with a friend/s or visit a friend living there already. This time I'm visiting a friend in Sète, France and I figured I'll crash a few days in Barcelona before that, because - why not? I loved the city once I came there with a group of history of art students and this time I'll be really thrilled to do a much more free kind of sightseeing, (possibly also a tiny bit night life? but definitely not clubs, rather live music - cameral gigs, that interest me a lot since I play live music myself, when there comes an occasion). I don't need to be carried around the city, can easily do everything on my own, but I'll be happy to have company of a host showing me few less touristic spots, since those I know already well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like almost all genres, but my favorite period is definitely Rock (as this one I try to create as well, to be more concrete - Krautrock, Classic Rock), also: DUB, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Rap (I can show You some really great polish old school rap if you like), Techno, actually everything comes into one mood or another

Books - I love Henry Miller, Kerouac, Hesse, Gombrowicz, Deleuze; I partly study cultural anthropology, so from this field I know and read a lot.

Movies - my favorites are Pasolini (Teorem, Accatone), Antonioni (The Passenger, Blow-Up), Rohmer and Godard (A bout de souffle, Le Mepris); also the polish masters, such as Kieślowski, Żuławski, Polański..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked across the Tenerife with a crew of neo-hippies from La Caleta. I left half of my stuff at a random guy who took me from the airport and then, after 2 weeks, coming back to the airport I'm catching a car on a gas station and the exact same guy comes! But he didn't have almost any of my stuff and then, after he gave my his number, he didn't answer to get the adress and money to send me the package to Poland ;// More stories like that I have up my sleeve :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a good talker (I guess), I love to exchange thoughts about different life experiences and opinions on anything, but I'm not forceful on talking. So called bullshitting is also absolutely not my piece of cake :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very tidy, respectful to others space and personal belongings and organized, if I have to be (which applies to having guests or being one to someone else of course). I can be a "ghost" or a friend, depending on what comes up in the freestyle of interhuman situations.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, England, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
