About Me
Shalom! I'm Michal and I'm from Israel
Not so long ago I finished my Army service and ever since I'm kind of on the go!
I'm travelling solo so I find couchsurfing very special to make my experiences fuller
By meeting locals
Sharing stories
Being able to be genuine
It just makes it a whole lot better
Also, I'm very much into yoga and would love to have a session together!
I become more sustainability aware lately so I guess that's also a nice chat to have
Also, I'm very much into Photography, I take my Canon 80D everywhere
Every hike!
Gets uncomfortabke at times, but so worth it
I also like to have conversations about Israel
To let people know some local prespective, and to hear some new opinions myself
So that's me! :D
We can text over instagram if more convinient: @michalsoffer
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Basically I was always drawn to know more about other cultures
And what better way to know a place and a culture than its people?
Also, as a solo traveller it makes my experience much fuller:)
Interests
I have so much to say about each!! Basically Yoga is a big part of my life(right after food), and hiking as well, where I would always take my camera!
I always love chatting abiut gender equality Politics and Sustainability as well, and sometime to even be active if I can:)
- photography
- festivals
- yoga
- politics
- music
- ecology
- food
- sustainability

Music, Movies, and Books
Kind of everything - but mainly indie israeli music (I can let you give them a try!)
And Forrest gump is my all time fave
(Honestly after all my guilty pleasure chic fliques ! Mean girls forever)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked solo through the israeli desert,
That was a tough one!
Teach, Learn, Share
Lets have a yoga session! I can also share funny hevrew phrases and jewish culture knowledge
And mainly - make 2 amazing israeli dishes - Malabi and Shakshuka
Trust me - you won't regret:)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have pretty good stories from my short life experiences
If its being in the army and living in israel,
Or how yoga makes my life better
Or just my prespective regarding other topics
Also, I would definitely want to introduce Shakshuka (the israeli dish) to you:)
