About Me
Hi! I am Michał, 25. Currently living in Warsaw, sharing my small flat with girlfriend and two cats. Working in Nestle Nutrition' sales departament. Love my life which I spare between my work, family and friends. I didn't mind about my girlfriend because, frankly speaking, we're doing most of activities together.
We love to travel, but in fact, mainly across Poland. We're sharing the philosophy that before we go abroad, we have to know beauty of our country. And trust me, Poland is worth to see...
More about me. I am open-minded and easy to contact with person. I speak polish (native), english (still learning, but ready to couchsurfing without any communication issues, I think ;)) and german (only basics from high school). As I mentioned before, most of my time after work I spend with my girlfriend making our lifes easier to go through. We're sharing the mindset that everything tastes better together. So we're travelling, cooking, taking care about our two cats and common home, partying, attending many cultural events (music gigs, theatre, cinema) but also we're doing some crazy stuff like skydiving or bungee jumping. What I do on my own (but not alone, of course)? I am singing and playing acoustic guitar, so if you'll have an occasion to stay at our place I can offer you small gig ;)
Interested in broad range of topics, starting from good movie, music (it's one of the most important things in my life), going through dancing (sometime ago I was even learning in dance school), ending on science, mainly economics (I can share with you some interesting thoughts about real value of nowadays money, but not only), as well as psychology, sociology, history of the world and marketing (influence of ads and digital progress on our lifes). If you want to go deeper I can offer you the ambitious discussion about how to save our mother Earth before it will be to late...
As you see I am quite interesting person, I think. I would like to say that there is no place for boredom in my life but sometimes, as everyone, I only want to lay down with her on our bed and, literally, do nothing. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all I'm here because I love to travel, but don't have enough money to see even few countries from my checklist. When I heard about couchsurfing I thought that is a wonderful idea! There is possibility to travel low budget, but what's even more improtant, that is a easy way to meet new, inspiring people across the whole world. Sharing experiences and the knowledge is what I'm expecting. But... I am also expecting respecting some privacy after all (I guarantee that I can offer you the same) and spending time with host/guest only when we both want to. I am pretty active in new places, so rather I am not at current place, than I am.

- Bokka (amazing band from Poland performing in english, what's more interesting no one know who they are because their personalities are a secret - what's more they're performing on stage behind the masks!) - THEY ARE TRULLY AMAZING
- James Vincent McMorrow

From the library I think the favourite titles are The Mockingbird and polish criminal trilogy about officer Frost by Remigiusz Mróz.
When it comes to movie. I really enjoy some commercial stuff like Avengers or the Tarantino/Rodriguez movies but also appreciate some alternative cinematography, mainly from scandinavian countries and Iceland).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parachute jump from height of 4 kilometres. Free falling for over 20 seconds is trully unbelievable experiences.
But the most amazing thing which.... unfortunately I didn't do yet, is to spend at least 3 weeks on Iceland with my gf and sister, just travelling around the island and simply admiring the pure beauty of mother nature. From crazy stuff, maybe do some waterfall jump if possible and safe enough :) Finally, attending some jam session in Reykyavik is a must!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share with you some personal experiences (I am pretty young, but have a lot to say) about life, Poland and everything you would want to know.
I would like to learn something about your culture, mindset and idea for life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can learn you polish language. It's probably one of the thoughest, but in Poland we used to say that if you learn polish, you'll be able to learn nearly every language of the world.
I've got the philosophy that my knowledge is your knowledge. You just have to ask, it's that simple.
I can offer you some free guitar lessons if you just have a little sense of rythm.
