ABOUT ME

I was born in Poland but spent much of my early years in Canada. Since I grew up in Montreal I feel equally Polish, Canadian and Québécois (French Canadian).

I've spent as much of the last few years as I could backpacking and discovering new places. Until recently I was living in the US for graduate school. I now live in Bangalore, India working on a health technology startup, trying to bring affordable medical care to the masses!

I'm easy going, like my beer cold, vodka even colder and there is no conversation topic that I'd avoid.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I unfortunately don't live in a couchsurfing-friendly apartment right now, so can't offer my couch, but I always like meeting fellow couch surfers and hearing their story. Every person has one.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed on quite a few continents, and meeting CSers all over the world never gets boring!

Interests

Traveling in any shape or form - especially the kind which balances out sightseeing and hiking / biking / etc.

Music - any kind really, but I've been slowly shifting towards the electronic stuff lately

Beer / partying - not like in my younger days but I can still have a few! :)

Computers / stuff with shiny lights - it *better* be an interest with an engineering / comp. sci. background

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked to 5800m altitude in Peru, then surpassed it (6100m!) in the Himalayas, jumped off a 500m cliff in Chile (with an open parachute ;) ), witnessed a people's uprising in Bolivia, scuba dived in Thailand, ..
