CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in a small town in Northern Greece. I have a BA's degree in Elementary Education and a MA's in Jewish Studies. At the moment I am in the process of immigrating to Scotland in order to find a job.

All my life I have been trying to encompass as much as I could of this world and its people. Reading and travelling have shaped me the most - I view them as similar too. For the last couple of years I've been focusing in terms of interests and personal research on my own corner of the world: the Balkans and their multifaceted history and culture.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

UPDATE: I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SEARCHING FOR A JOB AND A PROPER HOUSE (NOT IN ATHENS ANYMORE)

I used to host a lot of people in my flat in Athens (including a street band) as well as meeting numerous of my brother's guests who was something of a CS legend in Athens.

Couchsurfing helped me a lot in my trips abroad, especially in Poland. Being hosted by CS-ers in Iran was an invaluable experience and enriched my journey there in the most fulfilling way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled all the way from Greece to Iran and back by bus.

I went to a road trip around the US South.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can offer introductory courses in Greek, Hebrew, bits and pieces of a couple other languages.

I can take part in discussion marathons about international relations, racism and antisemitism, radical politics, history etc.

I can give you a pretty good insight in the messed up status of Greek society.
