Overview
About Me
Trying not to find the purpose of life because it could spoil the fun from living it. And there is always 42 when I find myself panicking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling was always for me about exploring the new, the unknown, the unseen. As I saw quite a lot of places, my main reason why I keep traveling is meeting and getting to know people from various backgrounds, opinions, and experiences. I host because I have always appreciated seeing the foreign cities and countries through the eyes of locals and I want to do the same for the others.
Interests
I like being outdoors whether running, cycling, walking or just sitting. Moving, doing exercise and physical activity is the most important part of my life. And for that, you need energy so baking and cooking go with that naturally. I like exploring and observing and it does not matter if it is around the corner or at the other part of the world or it is exploring knowledge and minds in discussions.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening and running to classic rock, relaxing with jazz and blues music, and dancing to swing.
The most influential film for me was Into the Wild. And believe me, it was really hard to pick just one film from the vast number of all the movies I have seen.
The most influential book I've read was The Hobbit, or There and Back Again from J.R.R. Tolkien. And of course, after the moment when I learnt that knowing where your towel is, is essential not only when you are hitchhiking through the galaxy, nothing was the same ever since ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went with old Fiat Uno in 2004 with my friend through the whole Europe to Morocco and back, in the time where GPS, smartphones and other travelling aids were unavailable. And we enjoyed the road trip and survived :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
Thanks to running and cycling, I know lots of places in and around Brno that even many locals do not know about and I can show them to you.
I cook a lot so there is always an opportunity to learn a new recipe or ingredients combination when I am around. And it also means you won't be hungry.
Have you baked your own bread? I can show you how ;-)
I can take you to lindy hop social dancing and teach you basic moves (it works better with girls of course ;-) ).
I would appreciate training in German, thinking about learning Spanish and playing the guitar.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Besides sharing my flat, my interests, and my knowledge about Brno, I can share many stories, tips and experience with travelling to and in different countries and continents.
