ABOUT ME

Hi folk ! I am an easy going, open mind , I love to travel through the world, meet new people, listen their interesting histories, up for adventure. I work as computer-telecommunication engineer in Warsaw. I fall in love in history of my city but also history of any slavic countries and its histories. I like tables games. I can't live without music. If you wanna we can prepare some traditional polish meal. I consider that a good journey is a mix between meeting people and sharing experiences / learning as much as possible about a new country and a new culture / taking plenty of good pictures and crazy videos / coming back to home with the head full of great memories and at least two or three new travel projects :-) Since that moment, I also cannot stop travelling and making new travel plans.

I enjoy any kind of nice atmosphere, from spontaneous crazy moments and ideas with crazy people to nice evenings and conversations over a good coffee mug. And actually, crazy ideas are something which is always welcome (and often present) in my life! Life needs some craziness every now and then to evade the grasp of routine!

PHILOSOPHY

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book. Groucho Marx

In other words I don't like to loss time ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a few CS experiences over the years already and they usually turn out to be awesome! I've been to a few countries and I can say that in all of them I was able to meet wonderful people and have a really good time. Now it's hard for me to picture myself visiting a country without actually meeting the local people and experiencing life there. As a host I've had less occasions but mostly the same story, had a couple of really nice experiences and I'm eager for more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Year ago I was in Georgia with my friends. We climb to the top of mountain with ruins of medieval castle (Tmogvi near Vardzia). We didn't have enough time to come back so we decided to sleep here over the milky way without a tent. Luckily we had beautiful weather.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some Polish of course, as it's my mother tongue. Slang or serious Polish; it's up to you guys ! I also know how to cook Polish dishes. And of course, if you ask me about travel tips about places I've been to, I'd be glad to answer you as precisely as possible. As I like my Polish culture, it's always a pleasure for me to give advice to people who want to go there too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

What I could and gladly would share with others would be mostly life experiences and interesting stories, and I'm also looking forward to those who can share theirs. If I have time, I can show Warsaw, its interesting (for me) places, talk about its history.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, Belgium, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guinea, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Mauritania, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russian Federation, Senegal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, United States, Vatican City State, Western Sahara
