Sobre mí

A couple of years ago I decided to try something completely new to me - travelling. Switzerland was always my dream. What is more, I tried another thing along - meeting new people. There was this website my friends told me about. At the same time another thing popped out totally unexpected - I got invited to go to China (long story). It was never my dream. I have never even thought that I might go somewhere that far away, experience another culture and talk with people that are so different from Polish.
These three pieces started a great puzzle that I am now. I try to go to new places, to see the world. Every week or even more often I go with my friends to see slideshows of people who travel more than me. If you would ask me now about my dream, I think I'd say 'Experience the world'.

(update) Now I live in Switzerland. This country is so beautiful that you just have to experience it by yourself!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A week backpacking around Switzerland and staying at three hosts - a wonderful time. My very first experience of hospitality and generosity of couchsurfers. All three hosts were different and all were great, caring and helpful. I am glad I met them at the very beginning of my new life of backpacker.

Then I went on a car trip around Baltic Sea, where on Aland Islands I've met the couchsurfer that introduced me to nature-like lifestyle - eating roots, hunting, driving a motorboat, watching seabirds. I've tried sleeping in a tent for two weeks, which was totally different from my everyday life.

The very recent experience with couchsurfers I had in Israel. I stayed a few days at two hosts. To be honest, I didn't know much about Jewish culture before. Only because of couchsurfing and the people I met, I could learn a lot and understand them.

Then, Japan, then Israel again, then Switzerland again. Then, I hosted some people in Krakow.

All of these people made me even more interested in the world, in travelling, in helping this community.

Intereses

I am interested in computer stuff and juggling various things. These are the things I am good at.
I also like travelling, but I need to learn a lot about it. I hope you will teach me :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hmmm probably a crazy-fast motorboat trip on Aland Islands. The night before the departure I had no idea such a place exists, next day I am amazed by the landscapes, the people and my back hurts a lot because of the constant bumping of the motorboat.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you how to juggle anything you want! Balls, clubs, pens, Rubik's cubes etc. I also make delicious banana pancakes.
