Overview
About Me
Hi, my name is Michel. I really love exploring new things, that's probably the reason why I ended up studying Micro- and Nanosystems. When studying gets boring I try to find the adventure outside by meeting new people and exploring new countries. In my spare time I'm organizing with my friends a music festival in Luxembourg, the Last Summer Dance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Textbooks can't teach you everything. What they can't teach, I want to find by going on an adventure, travelling and to getting to know a new country, just not to drift by as a tourist. I feel that couchsurfing is a great way to explore new areas by directly connecting with the people living there. I love the idea of meeting new people and having interesting discussions, opening up my horizon. And it's more fun than staying in a hotel :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in Luxembourg I'm organising a music and arts festival in my spare time. This year is the already the fourth edition <3
Teach, Learn, Share
I love how every conversation brings in new ideas from different global perspectives and how different people make me think about things I probably normally don't. It makes me feel like people are actually very interested in getting to know and help others. I also want to get more from the places I visit, their daily business and culture. What better place to start asking than the people living there?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Music festivals are not only fun to go to, but also to organize :) If you want to hear funny anecdotes about bands or what can go wrong, from having power shortage to headliners that cancel last-minute, I can tell you many stories. I also can cook a little ;)
