About Me

Just a normal girl, forever in love with foreign cultures, books and traveling. Always hungry for adventure, meeting new people, hearing stories and collecting new experiences - as many as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it an amazing way to get to know really interesting people, who have many stories and curiosities about their culture and their life to share.

Also, the perfect way to travel and get to know countries from an 'insider' point of view and not (only) as a tourist. Plus, it's always real fun to explore places together with locals/other couchsurfers!

Music, Movies, and Books

indie and alternative rock in the first place, but I actually like any kind of music, as long as it is catchy (I easily get earworms).

I love cartoons! Anastasia, Inside out and Big Hero 6 are my favourites at the moment. And I love animes and manga: japanese culture is pretty fascinating, ah?
At the moment also in love with "Your Name": I really don't think I have never ever cried so much and so long for a movie. Same with "Call me by your name". (Funny, similar titles!)

I've read so many books so far, I've lost count! (Although, I'm proud to say my 'physical' library counts with almost 100 titles -- my mental library is way bigger)
Obviously I, as a book lover and "professional reader", can't really pick a favourite. I often find myself reading texts about dystopia or some must-read of the world literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- allein nach Deutschland umgezogen, as soon as I got my high school leaving certificate
- bathing at night in April on Poel Island
- partecipating in the BolognaPride 2019 under the rain with one of my best friends

but in general every travel leaves something in my heart: I would just make a list of any single detail that made them amazing -- like spotting one of my favourite bands in the crowd unexpectedly while taking a walk at night.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- Italian culture and curiosities -- I make a superlecker tiramisù! And pasta of course.
- books' quotes and literary conversation/recommendations (my friends are always exploiting me in this sense -- and I love it ;) )
- great company, ranging from "a cup of coffee/tea" to "concerts and partying" to a simple "let's chat!"
