About Me
Hello everyone!
I am Michele Doronzo, a 21 years old boy from Barletta, a town located in the South of Italy! I am a student: I have just graduated in Management Engineering and next year I will continue my studies with the Master Degree. I have three great hobbies in my life: since 2012 I am a football referee, but I am also a scaut. I am a member of the Onlus ASSORAIDER: this scout association transmitted me a great sense of curiosity and aventure! However, one of the most favourite activity for me is travelling! I always want to see new places, know new people from all over the world, explore new cultures, traditions and different lifestyles! I have been in Erasmus in Poznan (Poland) and this experience has changed my life: since I came back to Italy, I want to see the world around me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up on Couchsurfing because I think being in close contact with the locals in the nation you want to visit, helps you to understand in a complete way the culture, the traditions, the customs of the place! In addition, in this way you have the opportunity to experience a better integration with the local people, you can understand better their behaviour and their lifestyle! I think you can say you really know a place only if you have known the locals, their customs and habits!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
ERASMUS: I have been for five months in Poznan (Poland), and I had the greatest experience of my life! I met people from all over the world, I learnt lots of things about their cultures, their lifestyle, I experienced the great time and the difficulties you can have during a long stay in a foreign country. I travelled all over the Europe in these months, I visited different incredible places!
You can't really explain Erasmus, but it's really the most incredible experience you can have in your life.
Teach, Learn, Share
During my stay abroad, I learnt an important thing: when you travel, you have to do a great effort, you have to delete from your mind any preconception imposed by history, people or society. You have to be like a great pail: when you arrive in another state, you are full, and you have to become empty giving your culture, your traditions, your personality to locals. When you come back to your town, this pail will have to be full again of new people, new experiences, new people!
Only in this way travelling will be the most beautiful experience you will have in your life!
What I Can Share with Hosts
First of all, I can offer my culture, my traditions, my Italian experiences! I am very friendly with everyone in every place! :D
I ensure great respect of the rules, and I can adapt to every culture/environment I am in contact with.
I can cook, so I can give you some Italian meals!
Obviously I ensure a great cleanliness in the bed/couch/room you will give me and in the whole house!
Enjoy! :D
