Overview
About Me
I have many interests, although life usually punishes those who do not focus on a few or just one. I work as researcher in Uni, have an interdisciplinary track (engineer by training, worked in linguistics, work at psychology dpt at the moment).
I don't like to travel, but I have travelled and lived abroad, and every time I learn something. So, I think I am just lazy in nature.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that money is the worst thing humanity has invented. CS is one of the many ways to bypass money. The best things in life cannot be sold or bought, e.g. friendship, your childhood memories, the feeling of accomplishment, compassion, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
music (among others):
prog rock from 70s, like Yes, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Gentle Giant
fusion, like Chick Corea, Weather Report
films (among others): The Shawshank Redemption, Taste of Cherry (Kiarostami), Duel (Spielberg), Before the rain (Manchevski), Regalo di Natale (Avati)
books (novels, among others): The tin drum (Grass), all the series about Adrian Mole (Townsend), The Man Without Qualities (Musil)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I have a refined taste for music, like films and literature, and I am a language geek. So if you are in any of those things we can share experiences and knowledge. I think that if we like the same song or the same book that's the same thing as if we've been in the same place.
Besides that, I am experimenting vegan cooking, so if you are good at cooking then we could share ideas and food.
Finally, I am interested in volunteering work, so if you have experience in it that's definitely a blast!
Countries I’ve Lived In
England, Italy, Netherlands
