About Me

I'm Michele, an engineer born in Venice, raised in Trento and mostly not dead yet.
I would describe myself as sociable and easygoing, always looking forward to have a beer with someone (beer is the perfect social drink, but water can work too).
I love travelling, particularly by train (I'm a big Interrail fan), even though I don't get to do it that often, or at least as much as I would.
I also love using brackets in sentences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and visiting cities is better with some local advice! Also, I like the idea of a community of people sharing their couches and their experiences,

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't listen to music that often, same with watching movies and reading books.
When I do listen to music, I swing from metal in all its obscure forms to electronic music. My favourite bands? Rammstein and Depeche Mode.
I don't read books often, sadly. I really enjoyed Kurt Vonnegut, Stefano Benni (Italian writer) and Douglas Adams (yes I enjoyed the hitchikers movie even though it seems to be a controversial opinion).
My favourite movies? The Blues Brothers, Mad Max: fury road, both Blade Runner movies and the LOTR trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While cooking, I sliced a mosquito mid-air with a knife.

Teach, Learn, Share

Being a homebrewer and a beer lover, I can surely take you around drinking fine beer or I can try to convince you to start brewing at home!
I can teach you how to prepare pizza from scratch and some lazy italian recipes.
I also love to talk and sharing experiences, stories and in general learning about others and their life. We all have a unique life and always have something to teach and learn

What I Can Share with Hosts

Again, I can teach you how to cook italian food but I might be less successful in doing so (I will surely do my best).
