About Me

Hi, I'm Michele, I'm 22 and I'm Italian, more precisely I live in Valmadrera on Lake Como. I study architecture and engineering at the Politecnico di Milano and I am currently on Erasmus at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile in Santiago de Chile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up for Couchsurfing because I'm sure that sharing time and space with local people is the best way to discover a country and its traditions. Because I'm sure that knowing people enriches you a lot, because in reality it's the people who make the journey and not the places. Meeting, sharing, discovering are fundamental elements of a journey.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like Italian music, especially indie-style music like the group Pinguini Tattici Nucleari or the singer Coez. My favorite band is Articolo31.
I like movies especially the historical ones, which tell you stories that really happened and allow you to dream.
I don't read many books, but the ones I've read mostly deal with personal growth or architecture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I've done one incredible thing that stands out above all the others, but I've had many adventures and experiences that have made me grow and I can't wait to tell stories and share them with the people I meet on my travels.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to know about the local culture of each place, from food, language to history. Because I'm sure people's life and history are always enriching and there's something to learn!
I would like to share as much as possible with the local people, live like the traditions.
I could teach you to prepare some typical Italian dishes, some words or curiosities about Italian culture. I can teach the basics of sport climbing and behavior to adopt in the mountains when trekking.
I can teach some curiosities about architecture and its history.
